Good morning Emamorose,

Your thread on repositioning Technology is very much related to the thread
that I had created "The Academia of TVET system" your concern of the lack
of practical training in association with the theory was one of the
concerns I put forward.

[moderator comment: please find the thread to "The Academia of TVET
system" here:
http://www.unevoc.unesco.org/forum.php?lang=en&skin=efor&show=1368]

The turning of the TVET system into an Academic research forum is not
helping or assisting those on the front line and the students. It seems to
me that paramount focus in the TVET system needs to be given to the
universal standardization of TVET system to incorporate in its development
for training, the focus of the industries in the home country of training
or the development of new industries to focus the TVET program being
instituted in that local, this would help the development of Industries
that would give graduates work and opportunities to become entrepreneurs in
a sustainable format.

It seem to me that this area of recognizing problems of the Local
Industries and training the students is a major issue for the TVET system
in developing countries, please take time and read my thread from the
beginning you will be suprised at what took place from the initiation to
how it has progressed now.

Best Regards
Joseph Amankrah
