Subject: Curriculum on Artificial Jewelery Making for Urban Slum Dwelling Women

Jeyem Foundation (www.jeyemfoundation.org)has started a new project "India
Skills Mission" which seeks to introduce vocational skills training to the
poor women and girls residing in urban slums in India. The training
programmes would be helping them to find some home-based works and
enterprises which can be operated from houses. The reason is these people
are not very outgoing.

Please share with us if there are any standardised curriculum for the
course on "artificial" jewelery making. We would also be thankful if you
can give us information on how their skills can be tested and certified.

We have explored the scope of MES Scheme by DGET in India, but it did not
have any courses in artificial jewelery making. So we request the members
to help us to carpet the gap.
