Subject: Language Learning & Tutoring Resources

Good Day, Every One!

In the process of trying to foster language learning and tutoring here at
McArthur River, I gathered the links below.

Cree and Dene are the local languages. English is the language of the
workplace. There are quite a few workers who speak French (from Quebec,
Ontario, and New Brunswick). There has been a fair bit of interest in
Spanish, by those interested in travelling to Central and South America.
An interest in Swedish and German has also been expressed.

I would estimate that about one-third of the workforce speaks English as a
Second Language (including immigrants from Europe, Africa, Asia, and
Central & South America).

If you have links to sites for Language Learning, please send them to me.

-22C at 10:45 p.m.

Thanks!

Yours,

Damian
