Dear Ahmet,

Thank you for your inquiry. It re-opens discussion on an important
"Modality" of TVET that is regaining popularity to the extent that many
writers speak about "Rediscovering Apprenticeship". To distinguish new
apprenticeship from Traditional practices, writers now refer to "Modern
Apprenticeship".

Importance of apprenticeship is reflected in many ways, but a major one is
the international initiative to formulate "The International Network on
Innovative Apprenticeship (INAP)". The Network is organizing conferences
and research. Some of their publications are done jointly with UNEVOC
Centre.

information.
