Dear Stephen,

you are completely right with your analysis of the International Women's
Day. being sometimes reduced to a day, where the traditional virtues of
women and not their right for equal participation in all parts of society
are honored.

Taking, for instance, TVET: in many countries, women are either not
accepted  to participate or the circumstances around and of the structure,
teaching and atmosphere of TVET itself are impossible for women to accept.
In our recent online discussion on Women and TVET the participants
detected many barriers keeping women at distance from TVET.
