In India, through the Ministry of women and child development, the women
will get priority in the skill development initiatives planned.  Also, at
local elected positions, particularly in Delhi, lot of young women
aspirants have come up to fight for the posts.  In other central ministries
where skill development is taking place at rural or livelihood missions,
preference to women is given. Centre for skill development did a Research
study on women small holders as rural entrepreneurs and the study was in
India and South Africa. One can download the study for free from research
