Subject: Aging Population Mega Trend
Dear Colleagues,
Looking at the feedback I find that "Aging Population" is emerging as an
important mega trend that is likely to have significant impact on TVET in
the next decade. I am therefore sharing a study I did for the Construction
Sector Council and funded by the Canadian Government on older workers in
the construction sector. The report is entitled "Manage to Last: Older
Workers' Labour Market Inclusion and Extension. You can access it from
the following link:
http://www.csc-ca.org/en/products/manage-last-older-workers-labour-market-inclusion-and-extension
The web site will ask you to register before allowing you to download the
document. However, the document is free.
I hope this helps clarify issues facing TVET with regard to the aging
population.
Best regards
Chris
