Dear members of the forum,
as a member of the scientific committee of the LEARNTEC - Germanys largest
congress & fair on professional education - it is my pleasure to invite you
to visit the 2012 LEARNTEC in Karlsruhe from January 31st until February
2nd. In particular, we have a limited number of free congress tickets set
aside for this community.
Why could this be of interest to you ?
One highlight that may be relevant is the "International Day" on Feb. 1st.
The day is started by a key note from Mr. Oskar Heer, Head of Work Policy
of the well known German Daimler AG - dealing with the question what the
future of the German "Dual System" of education will be. Sections covering
international reference projects and on the internationalization of the
educational systems will fill the day - and Prof. Joergen Bang from
Arhus/Denmark will speak a key note on "How to organize life long
learning". The future of professional careers in Europe".
Another highlight relevant for this forum is, how mathematics &
engineering will be taught in the future. This will be subject of the
LEARNTEC congress on February 2nd - introduced by a key note from Brendan
Tangney, Trinity College Dublin: "Learning with a Smartphone. The future of
science and technology training".
