Dear Forum Member,
We would like to remind you of the upcoming 20th DACUM International
Seminar in St. Louis, USA on November 14-15, 2011. If you are interested in
the DACUM job/occupational analysis process and how it can help connect
your organization with industry by using expert workers to identify the
tasks (competencies) that employees need to be successful, this seminar
will provide an excellent orientation as to how the process works for
schools, colleges, and companies. The seminar is not designed to prepare
you for certification as a DACUM Facilitator, as that process requires more
than two days.
As in previous seminars, the experienced DACUM attendees (certified
facilitators) will do most of the presenting by sharing their DACUM and
SCID
success stories with the group. We expect we will have several
international
participants (already have five), many persons from industry and
community
colleges and some from government agencies and other organizations. It
will be
another opportunity for professional advancement in the DACUM process that
does
not exist anywhere else.
Please see
http://www.unevoc.unesco.org/e-forum/DACUM_Invitational_information.doc for
more information and a registration form. The recommended hotel is the
Hampton Inn. The deadline for
seminar registrations is October 21st. We hope you will join us!
Please refer to our website at www.dacumohiostate.com for more details.
