Good Day, Marjorie!
You have asked about an ageless and fascinating issue: Who am I?
From the perspective of You Are What You Do, I suggest that you explore
the area of Life Skills as it is articulated by the Canadian Alliance of
Life Skills Coaches and Associations http://www.calsca.com/ NOTE:
This is experiential learning. The group exercises must be done to be
understood. Simply reading about it will not enlighten you.
The Life Skills model is substantially drawn from the ancient tradition of
Talking Circles. A very good outline of this is provided on the Mi'maq
Spirit Site: http://www.muiniskw.org/pgCulture2c.htm
The same basic model has been widely utilized by Mutual Aid or Self Help
groups of all kinds:
http://www.ementalhealth.ca/ottawa/en/_Selfhelp_mutual_aid_and_support_groups_a1_b44.html
http://telosnet.com/review/selfres.html
http://www.bhrm.org/Guide.htm
From the perspective of You Are All That You Have Experienced, I suggest
exploring the ancient traditions of transcendence through a variety of
practices. I find the use of psychoactive drugs across cultures and time
particularly interesting. I suggest that you start your readings at the
Psychedelic Library: http://www.psychedelic-library.org/bookmenu.htm
Again, the learning comes from the experience.
Yours,
Damian
